We have the capabilities to build a starter to your specifications. Some of the different types of starters we carry include Cross-the-line, solid state, Auto transformer type, Solid State Reduce Voltage, forward and reversing. All Starters at EMSCO are available with or without a circuit breaker or fusible disconnecting means.

Motor Control Centers (MCC) are one of our biggest sellers and therefore, EMSCO carries a variety of brands and styles. If you are looking for a replacement size 2 bucket for an existing section that has become obsolete or maybe you need a completely new control system for your plant or an assembly line with specific requirements, we can build it. From a single section Unit to a complete twenty section line-up with fifty starters of various sizes, we can help you design and build it. If a MCC seems too large or doesn’t quite fit your space or environmental requirements, we have the answer. EMSCO can build multi-starter control cabinets in new Hoffman enclosures for virtually any application;

Soft Starters

• We will build to your specs Auto Transformer Reduce Voltage (ATRV) soft starters
• All ATRV starters are built with reconditioned starters and contactors, and new hammond auto-transformers in Hoffman Nema 12 enclosures
• Available up to 600 HP
• We also stock used solid state soft starters in several sizes up to 800 HP
• If new is what you are looking for, we are a distributor for Benshaw brand soft starters and variable frequency drives

Low Voltage Starters

• Open Type, Nema 1, Nema 3R, Nema 4, Nema 4X
• Nema Size 1 through Nema Size 8
• Combination type with fusible or circuit breaker disconnect
• Coils from 120 to 575 volts.
